"Swim" ~ Channel 4 screening!

"Swim" The short film I animated for The Brothers McLeod will be screened on Channel 4's Random Acts on 13th July 2012 11.40pm. "Swim" is about the ebb and flow of a journey to work. Picked as only one of five shorts from 170 applications, Swim is a short, animated, dance film about a man's extraordinary journey to work... story, design and direction by The Brothers McLeod, with choreography by Struan Leslie, animation from Robert Brown, and music composed by Gary Yershon. It is part of Big Dance Week. I hand drew over one thousand drawings to produce the 90 second short! Phew..tired now! Hope you enjoy it!

"Swim" ~ First public screening

"Swim" The short film I am animating for The Brothers McLeod will have it's first public screening at The Southbank Centre on Wednesday 11th July 2012 at 9.30pm. This is part of the Big Dance Pop Up Cinema Tour and is an outdoor, late night special screening and will be followed by a screening of Baz Luhrman's "Strictly Ballroom". It will be held just left of Foyles book shop on the Riverside, right by the Thames.

It looks like i'm buried with Walt Disney! Although i'm not worthy of such a great honour! And my middle initial is "J" not "B" :-)

This is a mural I painted at Siriol Productions in 1997. I was seeing spots for days after and it drove me a bit dotty!
