Siriol Mural

This is a mural I painted at Siriol Productions in 1997. I was seeing spots for days after and it drove me a bit dotty!

Isle of Spagg ~ Model Sheet Turnarounds

Here are just a few of the character turnaround model sheets I drew for The Brothers McLeod's half hour film "Isle of Spagg". These turnaround model sheets are based on Greg McLeods original designs and are copyright © The Brothers McLeod 2010.

SuperTed

As I started work at Siriol Animation in 1986, I missed out on working on their "SuperTed" series. But in 1990 I finally got to draw the famous bear for this poster to celebrate his 10th Birthday! Also because I worked on "The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" series I guess I was the perfect choice for this poster. The SuperTed 10th Birthday party was held at Cardiff Castle on Sunday 8th July 1990.

Happy Valentines Day!

Just to get you all in the mood for love, here's a short animation I produced in 2000 called "Lovespoons". It was the first of four commissions I was awarded by S4C's Short Short scheme. Using the music of Bolero and combining Welsh Lovespoons it was a homage to Torvil and Dean!

Billy Wall Dragon Projection

Below is the section I animated on an 8 minute "Billy" (William Shakespeare) animation. The film was projected on The Royal Shakespeare Company Theatre's large internal relic wall. The animation was produced by The Brothers McLeod. Copyright © The Royal Shakespeare Company 2011.
There's no sound on this clip.

Christmas Cards

It has become something of a tradition that I make my own Christmas Cards.
It is now also a tradition to include myself in them somewhere, as in 2008 i didn't and there was complaints!!
Merry Christmas Everyone and a Happy New Year 2012!!
